Our floor plan promotes easy mobility for our residents. Beautifully decorated living, dining and communal areas provide our residents with a safe and comfortable place where they can relax, socialise and be cared for in a supportive environment with the comforts of home.
We are able to offer extra facilities in bedrooms as required and upon request please discuss this with the home manager.
We have three delightful lounges, with doors leading to covered patio areas overlooking landscaped gardens. There are gently sloping ramps for wheelchair access to our gardens.
The main lounge has a TV, video, DVD player, and stereo available for the residents use. The other lounge is referred to as the Quiet lounge as it allows residents to interact and socialise in a relaxing and peaceful environment. In the interest of Health & Safety Apple Mews has a no smoking policy.
Entrance Area
Our entrance area is designed to be friendly, welcoming and informative. the homes Administrator is based near the entrance so that they can assist any visitors to the home.
Dining Areas
Our dining areas are designed to be light and spacious, providing a relaxed eating environment. Offering residents the opportunity to socialise with other residents.
The home is invested in Focus onUndernutrition and works in partnership with the local MUST team (Managing Undernutrition South Tees Service
Public Health South Tees)
We can cater for any Specialist diets.
Bedrooms
Beautiful colour schemes, light and airy, comfortable beds and an armchair give that home from home feeling. Lovely. Residents are invited to bring their personal possessions to help create that perfect home from home feeling.
Lounge Areas
Our lounge areas are comfortable, light and airy. The ground floor lounge offers easy access to the terrace seating areas, through our patio doors. there is shade available and ramp to access the grounds and gardens.
The lounges are the hubs of the home and are used to socialise, relax and take part in organised activities that are designed to be therapeutic, engaging and fun.
